Dr. Resell is a 1978 graduate of Oklahoma State University as a veterinarian. He soon moved to Texas and began his career in Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Then his career led him to Atascocita Animal Hospital. Dr. Resell comes from a long line of animal lovers, and he and his wife originate from a small town in North Dakota. In his spare time, Dr. Resell enjoys bird watching, experiencing nature, and travelling to new place.
Dr. Neal graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduation, she joined our pack in 2003 as an associate veterinarian. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. Dr. Neal has a goldendoodle named Rory and many cats that she cares for. She and her husband also have two daughters and enjoy spending time together.
Bernadette is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and a 2021 graduate of VTI Houston. She began her career at Atascocita Animal Hospital immediately after graduation as an LVT and, in 2024, transitioned into the role of Practice Manager. A native of San Antonio, she moved to Houston in 2020 to pursue her career in veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Cain, and her dog, Anubis, and is dedicated to supporting both exceptional patient care and a positive client experience.
Beth accepted the role of assistant manager in August of 2022, but has been with Atascocita Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Her favorite part about working with animals is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pet and their families. Beth has 2 miniature donkeys, 3 ferrets, a Rottweiler named Draven, and a French Bulldog named Reznor. In her spare time, Beth enjoys competing in AKC scent work and agility with her dogs.
Selena has been a part of the Atascocita team for over 15 years and enjoys the challenges that come as our lead veterinary technician. She is fascinated by new and challenging cases that she gets to be a part of. Selena is a “connoisseur” of animals and has 6 dogs, a cat, two birds, and a variety of livestock at home. When she is not at work, you can find her gardening or traveling, as well as showing and completing with her dogs and goats.
Leann joined Atascocita Animal Hospital in October of 2021. She came along with over 5 years years of grooming experience. She has certificates in breeds such as schnauzers and poodles, and has a certification is “pet styled trims”. Leann has a full house of her own with Pika, a Pomeranian, Luke, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and 5 cats. Her favorite part of being a groomer is getting to make the dogs feel clean and look cute again.
